API Credits
Understand how API credits work and how requests are counted toward your monthly quota.
How Credits Work
1 Request = 1 Credit
Each successful API call typically consumes 1 credit from your monthly quota. This is the default for most endpoints.
Complex Endpoints
Some endpoints that require additional processing may cost more than 1 credit per request. This is documented in the API Playground for each endpoint.
Monthly Reset
Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.
Overage Billing
If you exceed your monthly quota, additional requests are billed at your plan's overage rate. Your API access is never interrupted.
Credit Usage Examples
| Endpoint Type | Credits | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Lookup | 1 credit | Property by address, single listing |
| Search Results | 1 credit | Map search, listing search |
| Detailed Property | 1-3 credits | Full property details with history |
* Credit costs are shown in the API Playground for each endpoint.
